Welcome to the Lucky Penny Cabin! Enjoy a cozy retreat from the Phoenix heat in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona. Pet friendly*. This 1090 sqft cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, garage with game room and sleeps 6 comfortably with 2 extra sleeping pads for 2 additional guests. The home is located within easy driving distance to several lakes, wooded trails, & rim views! It is situated on a nice lot with plenty of space to relax outside. Come enjoy the outdoor fire-pit and make lasting memories! *$35/one time pet fee

The Lucky Penny is nestled in the quiet community of Heber-Overgaard in the White Mountains. This community enjoys more mild weather in the summer time and often snow in the winter. It is the perfect place to escape the Phoenix heat or see snow for the first time! There are endless outdoor experiences close by, including hunting, fishing, hiking trails, lakes, and lots of natural wild life. Come enjoy the fresh air, night sky filled with stars, and ponderosa pines!

The house has a newly remodeled kitchen and comes fully equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable get-away! Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, Wifi and TV with streaming capability, comfortable beds, clean linens, outdoor fire-pit and chairs, and a large deck for relaxing in the fresh air.

Guests will have access to the entire property INCLUDING the game room in the garage! 

Our management agency is local and we are available to help in-person when emergencies/needs arise.

Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main highway and local stores and restaurants.

The property is within close driving distance to a few small stores (Family Dollar, Dollar General, Ace Hardware) as well as several local restaurants.

Fence:

The backyard is NOT fully fenced. Guests should take this under consideration when bringing pets and bring leashes to make sure they are kept safe and responsibly restrained.

House Rules:

No shoes in the house
No unapproved pets (must disclose before arrival and pay $35/flat pet fee
No pets on furniture or beds (bring their own place to sleep)
No food in the bedrooms
Follow all current fire restrictions
Quiet hours after 9 pm
Agree to follow all checkout instructions

Checkout instructions:

-Start dishes in dishwasher (please do not leave dirty dishes in the sink)
-strip used linens and place on the beds
-take out all trash to dumpster in the driveway
-set thermostat to instructed temperature (depending on the season)
-shut and lock all windows
-turn off all lights
-lock door

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $15.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $15.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
