This cozy & rustic A-frame on 1/2 acre offers a unique mtn experience! Pet friendly.* Come enjoy the pines, nearby lakes, hiking, fishing not far from the comfort of this adorable, tiny cabin! Features: 1 Queen & 2 Twin beds upstairs, 1 Full Hide-a-bed downstairs, Full bath, Fire pit and grill, Ample parking for any cars/RVs, WIFI, Cable TV, Wood stove, 2 porches for the perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Come escape the heat at the Knotty Pines retreat! *$35/per pet

IMPORTANT!! Must be able to climb steep ladder to reach the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. A handrail is attached, but parents need to keep a close eye on little ones. There is no bathroom on the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are. The bathroom is located on the ground floor only.

*Pets: a one time pet fee of $35 per pet required. Please let us know how many pets you plan to bring so that we can request the appropriate fee. Pets should not be allowed on any of the furniture or beds and should have their own place to sleep. Please keep them properly leashed when outside if the gate is open.

Campfires: Fire pit may be used if there are no burn restrictions. Fire restrictions change daily based on the level of dryness. We cannot guarantee that fires will be allowed during your stay, so book at your own risk. The wood burning stove inside can still be used during fire restrictions. The propane fire pit may also be used during burn restrictions.

AC/Heating: there is no HVAC or central air at the cabin. There is a window AC unit on the second floor between the twins and fans available. Cabin is heated by an electric wall heater, wood burning stove and space heaters.

Sleeping arrangements: The 2nd floor is a conjoined sleeping area with a queen bed and two twin beds. There is no door separating the sleeping spaces. The couch on the main floor also pulls out to become a full bed.

Space: this is a SMALL cabin, and is under 900 sf. Although this cabin sleeps 6, it is better suited to 4. We’ve hosted 6 before without complaints, but it might not be suited to everyone. Please take this into consideration when booking.

Wifi: Free WiFi provided! We recently updated to a new company for faster speeds and more reliability. Should support remote work and streaming! 

Deck: The deck on the 2nd floor is not currently useable as the railings need to be reinforced. This will be repaired soon hopefully!

Grill: The grill outside is available for guest use. Propane is provided.

Bathroom: the bathroom has a shower but no tub. Located on main floor only.

Free parking on site with plenty of room for trailers, a boat, or other recreational vehicles.

Lock box onsite for easy self checkin. Code will be given the day before arrival.

We are available by phone or text to help with any guest needs. We also live only a few minutes away if our presence at the property is necessary.

2 kayaks are also available to rent for an extra $50 one time fee. Guest must sign a liability waiver for the kayaks and be able to transport them themselves via truck or trailer. Life vests also provided.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $15.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $15.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
